This calculator is based on the valuation model developed by Susan Athey (Board of Directors, Ripple) and Robert Mitchnick (Stanford Graduate School of Business) in the paper A Fundamental Valuation Framework for Cryptoassets. How the calculator works
The model estimates how much demand could exist for XRP in a future "steady state," then divides that demand across the expected XRP supply and discounts the result back to today's dollars.
Present value = rho x (daily volume x hold time + store-of-value demand) / (current supply + future or locked supply), discounted over the time horizon.
The second result applies your success probability, so a 25% success probability turns a $32.91 success-case value into an $8.23 probability-weighted estimate.
